I am originally from New Orleans, LA where I was born on November 4th, 1977. I lived there for about 5 years and then moved to the North Shore of Lake Ponchatrain, to a small town called Covington. I lived in that area for another five years. Living so close to the
24 mile wide lake, I took up sailing, Scuba diving, and power boating as hobbies. In addition to my new local hobbies, my family made the annual Mardi Gras exodus (flee) like many New Orleaneans to Park City, Utah where I have skied since I was 6 years old. In addition to my other hobbies, I was also introduced to Rocketry while I lived in Covington. My Dad purchased a little Estes rocket with glider while he was away on a trip. After that, I built many
more rockets flying them from local soccer fields and parks.
In 1988, my family moved to Tampa Bay, Florida. While I lived there, I took up all sorts of new hobbies as I got older. I was initiated into the world of high power rocketry. Tripoli Rocketry Association was just getting started and I was quick to jump on the
bandwagon. I was #1390 in the scheme of Tripoli. There, I was part of several very large projects in an attempt to gain the record for the world's tallest amateur rocket. In addition to advancing in Rocketry, I also advanced in Scuba diving with dozens of diving trips to areas such as the Bahamas, Dry Tortugas, Florida Keys, and the gulf of Mexico to hone my diving skills.
In January 1994, I moved to Phoenix Arizona, the Valley of the Sun. Man is it hot down there! I went to Saguaro High School and graduated in 1996. After graduation, I was working for Pizza Hut as a manager and decided it was time to join the Air Force. I had been an active member of the Civil Air Patrol and had attained the rank of First Lieutenant. Joining the air force was the next logical step.
I enlisted in the Air Force as an F-16 Crew Chief on March 28th, 1996. After 1 year of training at Sheppard Air Force Base located in Wichita Falls , I graduated a fledgling crew chief.
Shortly after my return to my assigned base, Luke AFB in Phoenix, I moved to Prescott Arizona to attend college.
In Prescott, Arizona I attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to obtain my Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering. I attended the university for 4 years until I completed my degree in the summer of 2001. While there, I focused my studies on spacecraft design and
development as well as hybrid rocket propulsion in addition to the standard aerospace engineering aircraft program. Also in Prescott, I took up flying small aircraft, paintball, target shooting, and running a new high power rocket club. While in Prescott, I bought a
little house near the Prescott Municipal Airport (Prescott Love Field) where I lived the entire time I was in college. Upon completion of my degree, I moved to Seattle, Washington with my fiancé to start work for Boeing Commercial Aircraft.
Beginning July 1st, 2001 I worked for Boeing Commercial Aircraft at the Everett Plant in the Northern Puget Sound region (40 min north of Seattle). The Everett WA plant manufactures Boeing's wide body 747, 767, and 777 airframes. My job there was with the Liaison Engineering Department where I assisted the manufacturing facility by creating repair and rework planning and engineering documentation using the MRB process. For more detailed information, see the links on my main page. I spent a total of 9 months working for
Boeing Commercial Aircraft. However, with the events of Sept 11, 2001 taking their toll on the commercial aircraft industry, I choose to transfer to the Boeing National Missile Defense team located in Washington DC in March of 2002.
I am presently working for the Boeing National Missile Defense program in Washington DC. There I work in the Mission Analysis side for the Ground Based Interceptor. Not much left to say.
