Basement

The original basement was our storeroom and Jeremy's play area.  Jeremy's computer, workshop, and Jenn's sewing bar reside down there.  However, the space was needed as additional living space when Jenn's day care grew in size.  The storeroom basement had to go and a new more liveable space was needed.  The old basement consisted of 3 enclosed areas.  A 14 x 14 room w/closet in the rear, a 20 x 8 utility room on the side, and a 22 x 10 recreation area complete with 1970's bar.  We converted the room in the rear to a work shop.  The utility room consisted of all the mechanical equipment for the house and the laundry.  The recreation area has our computer equipment and Jenn's sewing bar.  Below are some photos from the original basement.  Click to enlarge. Refer to the Basement Renovation page for the basement as it currently looks.  Hit your back button to return here.
