Rockshire Street

Shortly after moving in, (like the same day) we noticed that the kitchen was pretty well non-functional.  The dishwasher was shot (it erupted like a geyser the first time we turned it on), the directions on the oven cleaner can were not followed by the previous owners and therefore the oven was destroyed by excess chemical burns, and the stove top was missing a few burners.  In addition, the kitchen was a dark and dingy place.  About the only saving grace was the relatively new refrigerator.

Jenn and I decided to repaint all the cabinets, paint the walls, replace the counter tops, and install a new sink, disposal, over range microwave, new oven/range, and a new dishwasher.  Jenn added some creative flare with her painting skills.  We have clouds on the ceiling and faux brick on the back splashes.  Below are some before and after photos.  The kitchen turned out great for not a whole lot of money.  However, it was a lot of work.
