Luray Caverns, Virginia

On July 12, 2003, Jenn and I took a 2 hour trip west on I-66 to Luray Caverns, the largest cavern system on the East Coast.  The trek through the caverns is about 1.4 miles and up to 170 feet underground.  The caverns had some pretty amazing rock formations and some nice reflecting pools that mirrored the ceiling above giving a pretty neat optical illusion.  Enjoy the photos below.  Click on the pictures for larger ones.
