In July of 2005 Jeremy and a co-worker teamed up with some other friends and headed out to Olympic National Park, Washington for a 42 mile hike through some of the most nicest mountain regions in the US. The trip started off with all of us converging on Seattle from around the US. We then ferried & drove to ONP and set our vehcile shuttles. One at the northern entrance and one at the Eastern entrance to our routes. We hiked from East to North up through a pass at 6000 feet and then down the back side of one of the pass and up the river to the northern entrance of the park. We climbed waterfalls, streams, rock fields, mountain meadows, river valleys, and barren wastelands above the tree line. It was an amazing adventure that I can't wait to repeat someday soon! Here's some of the shots we collected along the way. |
